With your betrayal, I spiral into darkness,
with your death, I descend into loneliness,
with my loss, I am fuelled with rage,
with this life I have led, made of sorrow is my cage.
Cut you down I will, with this crimson blade,
pay you will for all my wrongs, all my pain, and your life will fade,
crush you I will, for all the rage I feel,
for my love is gone, my heart is black, and my fate is sealed.
You took me from my family and turned me into a black knight of sorrow,
with this helmet atop my head, not with my own eyes can I see tomorrow,
through your silver tongue, I turned my back on the light,
and delved into the darkness, turning me into a blight.
You promised me power, but you only gave me pain,
I lost the woman who was my life, whose love I shan’t regain,
now even my son turns against me, but he too will fall,
for I am forever bound to the abyss, away from a light I cannot recall.
