I'm kinda buying the story that the Minato that leapt in front of the attack was the clone that Obito tried to attack last chapter and missed. Yeah, that clone must still be around. There is this statement that Tobirama made:
There are some differences between the two translations, they mention that there is a problem with using clones, but all he might be saying is that they can't rely exclusively on them to perform their next strategy, that they will have to include their originals. And then Minato said he's okay with that because with these bodies it won't matter.
And then this is how the switch would work:
1. Tobirama teleports to Obito to get close to him.
2. Minato's clone is closer to Obito so it leaps between Obito and the oncoming attack (unless Minato can catch up to Naruto and Sasuke who have already started running ahead, it's gotta be the clone).
3. Minato switches with the clone to move Tobirama's mark (which is on the original) to the position taking Sasuke+Naruto's attack.
4. Tobirama and Minato teleport at the same time both using their original bodies which he said is necessary to perform their strategy.
* Minato used his clone for the setup.
