The problem is that Hinata didn't constantly have her Byakugan active...like when Naruto slipped through Tobi...she wasn't using it. Though she was using it when Tobi used a full body Kamui to Teleport to another area...so of course she would only see him vanish.

Second, Sakura's deduction was formed with the help of insight from all of the Characters who spoke before her...without the support of the other characters...she would've just thought Tobi was using Shunshin, Clones, or Genjutsu.

In conclusion, Sakura needed Byakugan and more.=D

I didn't read it but Sakura is stronger than Hinata with a Good gap there is no comparison between them Sakura is straight up kage level and Hinata won't even stand against Mitsuki.
