It seems Itachi's presumably incurable disease, perhaps wasn't as incurable as I/we'd once thought? I've no doubt Tsunade, or Sakura (in her prime) could've cured his unknown disease, but there's also another remedy/medicine that can cure any disease known.

Deep inside of the Nara Clan's Forest, upon the majestic inhabitant's head, the guardian deer Rikumaru, hosts medicinal antlers only known to him (or perhaps even the specific species inside of the forest) that can be used through the Nara Clan's medical procedures to abolish any known disease.

Outstanding. The Nara Clan have this medical remedy in their possession...

Even the greatest Medical Ninja Tsunade needed the guidance of the Nara Clan's Sacred Medicinal Guide Book to cure Choji, from the negative effects of the Akamichi Clan's Red Pill.

I wonder what else they've in store?

Yes, but a healthy Itachi would perform the act of soloing better than a sick Itachi. Thank you Lyke, and yes Itachi does in fact solo.

Nah fam, there is no cure for Itachi's AIDS. If he had gone there alone, he could've accidentally infected the deer and started an epidemic on those poor animals. I'm also guessing the antlers would've had to be cut off the animal to be used to make medicine so I wouldn't be surprised if Itachi would consider it inhumane sort of like elephant poaching nowadays.

Of course there's a cure, and I doubt Itachi knew about the Nara Clan's Sacred Medicinal Guide.
Itachi could have been cured if he became a Juubi Jin.

Lol...

The cure was Hashirama cells. Itachi died because his chakra was too strong for his body and same goes for Kimimaro. It's no coincidence that the two Otsutsuki descendants that died prematurely possessed a piece of Kaguya's power.

This is literally... Bullshit.

His body was weak in other words?

Sasuke had ''more potent'' chakra from being an Indra transmigrant and that didn't pose a problem for him. U_U

This is literally... Bullshit.

When Sasuke used his Susanoo he was using the full extent of his MS, upon using the full extent of his MS he noted how it was taking a toll on his body.

When Nagato attempted at using Hagormo's dojutsu it took a toll on his body, when Kakashi attempted at using Obito's dojutsu it took a toll on his body.

What does that say ? When someone uses eye power beyond their physical limit it WILL kill them. Itachi had the same jutsu as an Indra incarnate (Amaterasu) and he had the eye power to grant Sasuke Indra's full Sharingan potential.

Itachi clearly possessed power that was beyond his means, he was not an incarnate therefore his body was not able to handle the potency of Mangekoy chakra like Sasuke.

Likewise Kimimaro was compatible with Senjutsu chakra but he was not an Ashura incarnate, abusing Kaguya's KKG would've eventually killed him since it was originally meant to be wielded by someone with Rikudou potential like Indra's dojutsu.

Karin said chakra of MS users is as strong as Senjutsu and Senjutsu has proven to destroy a person's body if they can't control it *cough*Orochimaru*cough*

Any info contrary or disproving that assumption?
No you're correct. Just Itachi being the Jubi Jin is hysterical.

This has got to be the most incorrect bullshit I've ever heard. An unknown disease killed Kimimaro, as an unknown disease killed Itachi. You can't simply reconfigure a truth the author has already set in stone.

What chapter is that in? The conversation between Tsunade and Shikaku.

Chapter 235, page 17. Why do you ask?
Just interested in the conversation. Even when I see a scan that I don't remember, it's familiar in someway, but that one looked really foreign to me. I don't even remember this conversation in the Anime, for what-ever reason.

So I wanted to read it for personal use.

I like that. Knowledge is key. If you read throughout the chapter, on page 6, or 7 I believe, Tsunade says bring an antler/deer horn (dependent on the translation source). This shows the reader that deer horns have healing remedies in general, further supporting the fact Rikumaru's antlers can heal any disease.

Thoughts?

Senjutsu was stated to corrode a person's body by sound 4, Itachi's body wa sstated to be corroded by BZ.

Karin compared Sasuke's chakra after he awoke MS to Senjutsu chakra

Hagoromo had a strong Yang affinity, his dojutsu powers relied on his Yang, Indra inherited his dojutsu potential and passed it on to Uchiha who didn't have Rikudou chakra let alone Hagoromo's full Yang power.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi came from Kaguya's dojutsu, Kimimaro's shikotsumyaku came from Kaguya's bone KKG. Neither of them had Kaguya's body.

So what part is bullshit ? Right, you're just too butthurt to think with an open mind
