There are two questions that I have about this page:
1. Does this mean that Orochimaru's true form being the white snake also a result from not being able to withstand DSM training?
2. Does the fact that Sasuke knows what an imperfect DS looks like give proof that he also researched DSM to some extent?

Jiraya got froglike characteristics because his sage-mode was imperfect, where as Naruto gets none because his sage-mode is perfect.

So ive always wondered why kabuto gets horns when his sage-mode is supposed to be perfect according to himself.

No, Orochimaru's true form is a result of bodily experiments on himself.

Saske clearly didn't know about DSM he was making a joke while relating it to Orochimarus hydra-form.

Kabuto's wasn't perfect, as shown by Naruto and Hashirama perfect sage mode only gives you markings and possible change in eye their are no changes in physical body structure. Kabuto's resemble's J man's and that means imperfect.

If we go by Naruto and the First Hokage both being perfect Sages of their respective styles,then a Perfect Sage looks totally Human with only certain Markings on their faces to let you know they are Sages Both Naruto and the First Hokage have shading arrow n the eyes,First Hokage has the symbol in His forehead and Naruto has Toad eyes. So base on this if Kabuto had achieved Perfect Dragon Sage Mode He should have look Human and would have had some shade coloring some ware on His body to say I am a perfect Sage instead of like Orochimaru and Jiraiya who had animal characteristics all over them.
