A counter to Hidan's jutsu?

If he scratches you and gains your blood during battle is there any way to counter his attack and stop him from stabbing the opponent since none have been shown yet?

Keep him from the circle, or get him out of it and destroy it, he'd have to make another.

Kill/incapacitate him before he gets the chance to perform the ritual. Other than that, you don't have many options once he's got some of your blood. You're screwed the moment he steps foot into his circle.

What I wonder is, what if he gets a small sample of an Edo Tensei on the blade then uses Death Possession blood would it not do anything?

I think you may have asked your question in an odd way good sir. But Hidan gets your blood, and has to be within his ritual circle, then he can stab himself (Which is usually in a vital area) and the damage is inflicted to the person the blood came from, and Hidan gets a complete feeling of Euphoria.

Ways to stop him: Destroy his Ritual Circle, no circle, no problem. You can keep him out of the circle, and in doing so just take him down like Asuma did and chop his head off.
