That's why I said she would try to at least, to gain acceptance. She seemd on the side of wanting to please Sasuke, or to find out if he was at least thinking about her, rather than focusing on the task at hand. Which only brought me to conclude she was thinking about him thoroughly throughout the War. With him there, I feel as if those thoughts and emotions were heightened.

That's why I don't understand how she could do this to stop Sasuke from falling further into the darkness, or doing it for "Naruto" - Aside from Sai bringing it in the first place (in the term of Naruto's feelings), and in the end she could not do it because she loved him too much to stop his evil, or to "ease Naruto's pain".

But how can she kill Sasuke when she cares about him too.She wanted to protect Naruto from the Akatsuki but that involved killing someone she loved hence she got caught.But if it were a life and death decision where its between Naruto and evil Sasuke,she will choose Naruto.Thats my point.The only part she will falter is killing him or causing lasting harm to him
