Before the initial forming of Team 7 and during it's early years Sasuke absolutely dismissed Sakura on every possible level.
During Team 7's medium, Sasuke's actions contradicted his initial treatment of Sakura (Point A.).
Point C.
When Sakura tearfully confessed her love and affection Sasuke in a sense acknowledged Sakura's feelings as genuine, meaningful and honest by giving her the intimate response of "thank you". Which meant he hadn't 100% rejected her feelings.
Point D.
Sakura never accepted Sasuke was incapable of finding the good in himself and and remained loyal to that ideal even when his treatment of her got threatening. This is also a contributing factor to her failing to kill him when she could've.
In a nutshell, one of the reasons why Sasuke could've choose Sakura was because she never stopped believing in him and was 100% loyal to her feelings even when shouldn't of. I mean Sasuke could've wifed any girl he wanted but he pursued Sakura.
