[Discussion] A comparison of gears

Ever since we saw gear 4th gear 2nd and 3rd seem ridiculously weak in its comparison. Dofflamingo when fighting Luffy commented that when he was in gear 2nd his blows were quick but lacked heaviness and Luffy's enemies are gonna get stronger and stronger to the point that these two gears might just become useless......So do you think over the time will we see some improvement in these gears or Luffy will rely on his higher gears only..?

I really wanna see Oda have enemies that can somehow get around Gear 4 but not Gear 2 or 3. No idea how he'd do it, but I hope Gears don't fall into the Super Saiyan trend

Nah those gears will not improve.
Luffy will depend on other things like:
Armament Haki
Conqueror Haki
Awakening
and maybe another gear at the end of the series

I actually just watched a theory on this same topic the guy thinks he'll use "overdrive" with G2 instead of pumping his blood stream he expands his heart and pumps it since he pumps his heart directly the blood flows faster and uses more oxygen turning him blue instead of pink don't know if its true but it seems possible and G3 he blowes his entire skeleton up but not to the size of a giant more like WB, Kiado and Moria I kind of like these two theories because they make the other gears relevant again

Nopes that isn't possible....if you use more oxygen than your blood stream can supply you will die. Heart can stretch but the rate at which your blood takes in Oxygen relates to your breathing and capacity of lungs.....G3 change might be possible

Well if i were to apply science....hell would it actually be applicable here!!! anyways blood gets the oxygen when our lungs absorb it after we breathe...that oxygen combines with the nutrients in our body to give us energy....luffy actually uses that enegy much faster in gear 2 so he gets even more exhausted and that explains his enormous hunger....now if i were to heed this theory not only will luffy need a larger pair of lungs he needs to up his breathing to keep the oxygen supply intact... otherwise even if he inflates his heart he will get a heart attack and nothing else...skin turning blue is all fine but he will die within seconds.....so this theory about gear second is wrong.
