A clue about Rin's death?

I was watching the anime today, and the one scene with Kurenai, Asuma, Guy, and Kakashi didn't include Rin who was alive one year earlier. Since I didn't notice this before I went back to the manga and realized that she isn't shown at all during the Nine-Tails invasion. This made me wonder about two things that might have happened to her:

-Did Rin really die in that one year interval between Obito's death and Minato's death? Because if she did that would be quite tragic for Kakashi to lose his two teammates and his master all in the same year

-Or was Kishi trying to trick us into thinking that she died that fast because she might have been on a mission at the time

I don't know what the answer is, but I definitely think it can be considered that Rin died that quickly after Obito. So what do you guys think?

She might have been on a mission outside the village, or she died that year. A lot of stuff can happen in one year

Wait, but Kakshi said ,when he died, that he couldn't even protect Rin, and she was in younger form when he saw her face. Wouldn't he see her in the age he last saw her?

Minato and Obito did not die in a 1 year interval. Look at Kakashi during the Kakashi Gaiden. Then look at Kakashi during the Kyuubi attack. He is way more than 1 year older.

actualy i also had my doubts if it was a year of diference between minato and obitos death.

has a matter of fact it realy was during a 1 year of time span between their(obito and minato's death)

currently kakashi is 30 years old,the atack was 16 years ago(naruto's age).
kakashi gaiden was set wen kakashi was 13 years old
so 30 - 16 = 14,witch is kakashi's age during the attack...
note:damn ninato was the hokage for a realy short period of time...

on the subject now...kakashi when he died and during kakashi gaiden itself he mentioned he failed to protect Rin so it is almost a secure assumption she died

Yah you would think it was longer than one year, but that was it. It looks like Kakashi just hit puberty between 13-14

My point was though that it looks like Kakashi failed miseraby in trying to keep his promise to protect Rin if she died that quickly after Obito. I think Obito had imagined Kakashi being able to protect Rin longer than a few months U_U

And then to top it all off Minato gets killed by Kurama. So it seems that year was quite tragic for Kakashi
