i can answer both those with the same answer....

they are not always on or always at the computer u wont get an answer right away maybe like 30 mins later

example...

i was trying to learn out to put a .gif picture for my avatar/sig i would post msg and create threads asking for help but nothing till a person helped me 3 days after i sent him a msg and got it to work

There was no need to re-post this I was going to get back to you, you see we live in different time zones, I'm guessing, and it was late here and so on.
instead of making a thread you could have asked a member. I'm not saying a chat system is a bad idea, it just wouldn't work with NB, me and a lot of other members like it without that system, and plus has been rejected by mods and admins.
