War had raged the country for quite some time now, and Laura had found herself being wanted, a fugitive on the run. Sought by many, yet she constrained herself to the darkness, moving only at night, and keeping a low profile throughout the day. She traveled through secluded areas, and due to her age, those who did not know her, would not expect her to be dangerous. No, most people would assume her to be an odd young girl, who didn't speak much, and was unfortunate enough to be alive in this cruel world. Little did they know the darkness within. Laura strode through a plain area, only to be interrupted by a young man. His clothing had indicated that he was indeed a shinobi of sorts, however, she could not gauge his power from afar. Moving in from long distance, to a more moderate Mid range, Laura stood. She flipped over the hood of her coat, and starred intensely at the man.

"..."

No words left her mouth, as she suddenly burst forth, running straight towards him. The very ground rumbled, as she had focused her Earth chakra into it, causing it to tremor, shaking asunder. His balance would be affected, and as such, he would make an easier target. Unsheathing her sword with her left hand, Laura would retrieve some shuriken with her right, and launch it in an arc towards the man. Attached to the shuriken (2) are elastic strings, fairly translucent, allowing her to guide them, should he try something. Her eyes filled with blood lust, and her breathing steady, Laura was going for the kill, and there wasn't much that could stop her.

The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.

Yu was passing through the lands not really looking for trouble. He wasn't a tourist. Even if he was he wouldn't be roaming the streets he was now. Saying they were a sight for soar eyes would be an understatement. The information he had gotten from the last tavern he'd chanced upon was that it probably wan't a good idea to go through those lands alone. Apparently it was more than a jungle out there. Well, other patrons called it a heaven also alluding to the abundance of high priced bounties who had made those lands their home.

The tales didn't really bother Yu however he still made a mental note to be extra alert in his travel. His alertness paid dividend when out of nowhere a young-looking female ambushed him. The first Yu noticed of the battle to come was an abrupt tremor in the ground followed by a girl running at him sword in hand.


Yu immediately assumed a more stable stance by planting his feet further apart and crouching slightly to lower his center of gravity. He also channeled chakra into his feet to fasten himself to the ground as he did this to reinforce his position and prevent him from falling. As the shuriken travel toward Yu he stretched his left hand toward it and caused a shield made of water to appear so that it blocks the tools. As he was doing this, he pulled out a kunai in a reverse grip manner with his right hand, in anticipation of the CQC encounter which seemed imminent.

"Who are you?" he asked in an attempt to avoid having to attack the lady.

With the formation of the water shield, Laura couldn't help but smile. She was excited, and one could see it. Not only in her advancement, but also in her eyes, her face lit up. She wanted blood. Nonetheless, the man had proved capable to standing his ground, but he made a fatal mistake of not directly dealing with the shuriken. With a flick of her fingers, Laura would guide the Shuriken around the shield upward, aiming to draw blood, even if not harm the man badly. Aimed for his left eye, and the other Shuriken moving around, aiming to strike his right leg.

At the same time (as the manipulation of Shuriken costs no chakra, it is done at the same time), Laura would manipulate her Water chakra beneath the man. This causes Water to burst up, exploding harmlessly, however, easing his concentration as well as allowing the Shuriken, who come from above, to meet their mark easier. Laura grips her sword tightly in her hand as she doesn't stop running, now entering Short range of her foe.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.

With her close enough, Laura would focus her Earth chakra into her mouth. This allows her to manipulate it, and mold it to form into Mud of sorts, which expels in the form of a cord. This cord blasts towards her airborne foe, struck with shuriken. This would allow Laura to pull her foe down toward her, as she plunges the sword forward, aiming to strike him right through his chest. A fluid motion, as she stares into his eyes, and pulls the sword upward, ripping it from him.

"...My name..is not important."

Laura says, with a thick accent.

Description: The user expels a retractable cord of mud in the shape of an elongated tongue from their mouth. Its adhesive and retractive ability allow it to stick to objects and pull them towards the user or it can be used to pull the user towards another person. However, its main purpose is to attach to any part of the terrain which is in range and pull the user to the desired location extremely quickly. It can also be used in quick succession to travel from one place to another.

After he had prepped a defense for the incoming weapons and secured his position on the ground, Yu felt another slight rumbling beneath him followed by a surge of water. As water started to appear beneath Yu however, his previous attempt to steady himself by applying chakra to his feet allowed him an extra second on his feet before being lifted by the pressure that would be generated as more water appears. In this brief moment the real Yu escaped the opponent's attack by instantly leaping to his right side but not before placing the rampaging foe under an illusion that her attacks would connect according to her plan.

After all of the opponent's aggressive actions had transpired, Yu would release his illusion, appearing within short range of her slightly to her left as he had only moved a few meters to the right of his original position. The moment he releases his illusion Yu would channel lightning chakra into the kunai he has in his right hand, molding the chakra to abruptly give off an immensely bright light that would effectively blind the opponent. Immediately after, Yu would run into the opponent keeping his body on her left while delivering a strong palm thrust with his left hand from a low almost-crouching position into her chest with enough force to send her to the ground.

Description:
A simple technique, this genjutsu works solely as a defensive measure. The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones, since the escape is his movement and, as such, is limited to small scaled attacks or normal paced ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with the usage of Genjutsu, the more effective and strong the illusion will be and more times can it be used.
Note: This version can only be used by ninjas without a Sharingan.
Note: Genjutsu users can use the technique thrice per match, D-Rank; Secondary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique four times per match, C-Rank; Primary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique five times per match; B-Rank.

Description: To perform this technique, the user sends a sudden burst of Lightning Chakra through their sword ( a normal sword will suffice ; the user can theoretically do this in any electricity conducting object though a sword is preferred ) which causes a sudden, intense burst of light to be produced, temporarily blinding the opponent for approximately two seconds and causing hazy vision after that for a short while. The effect increases with proximity. Also, people with doujutsus trained on the sword will be affected more than normal people since their eyes are sharper. This move, however, does no damage in of itself.

He had fallen prey to her combination after all. Hit with the water, as well as struck with the shuriken. It all seemed oddly..easy. Laura had faced many a shinobi before, yet never did they go down easily. No, most of them strove to prove that they were indeed hardened shinobi, trained to withstand, and evade even the most powerful of attacks. Nonetheless, Laura was indeed proven correct as the man appeared to her side. Her vision however, was subsequently, taken out. Hearing his footsteps approach, Laura smiled. Her eyesight was gone, but she relied on her shinobi skills. As he came in closer, Laura would unleash a scroll from her pouch, as she focused her chakra into it, as she spins it around her using her left hand. This allowed her to manifest forth several spiked balls, all around her, which blast out and aim to strike the man as he approaches her, discouraging his oncoming offense. Whilst launching the scroll out, Laura would too, launch several paper bombs with her free hand, as she spins clockwise, aiming to strike a potential spot (temporarily blinded and all).

Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.

From amidst this chaos, a clone would emerge, and aim to strike the young fellow. Or so he thought. Thanks to the formation of another hand seal, Laura traps the man into seeing one of the paper bombs as a clone. Approaching him through the spheres, exploding ever so early, and blasting him back, allowing Laura to regain not only her composure, but also her eyesight. It seemed he was indeed an interesting fellow, as well as a worthy adversary.

As Yu approached the opponent he had temporarily blinded he noticed her pull out a scroll and summon spiked weapons while spinning. In response Yu immediately halts his approach, clenches his left hand into a fist and thrusts it prematurely(before getting to her) towards her. By so doing Yu would release a strong wind that would blow the spikes and bombs back at the opponent. After this, Yu passes his palm over his attire, as if to brush off dirt but actually reinforces his attire with an absorbent aura. All this while he keeps his eye on his opponent, readying himself for any development that might occur.

"Well you're still breathing, yes? So yes."

Description: The Pinacle of Paw arts that the Bartholomew uses their paw art in a more supplementary and steathly way and at the same time augments their own offensive and defensive capabilities to its maximum. The technique itself which requires the use of a single paw or both paws follows 3 simple principles which dictates is usage offensively, defensively and its supplementary build up. The ability to repel matter as a whole and its inverse(absorb) are as well inbued together into one massive use though they now seem miniscle, they augment the simplest of things and increase their capabilities to the climax.
White Priest | Shiro Sou: Having a pure and a subtle state of mind, the White Priest is not aggressive and not able to harm someone so He prefers to stay and recieve/endure attacks. This is thus the defensive variation of the Martyr hands where the user uses his hands to absorb the impact in an inverse repel fashion, however, he is not directly using his paws like "Impacto Daiaru", he will only absorb the impact of a technique, through anything that he touches be it tools, weapons, clothes/attire, solid matter, etc and not the technique itself. Techniques that have no physical impact are immune to this ability. Having placed his paw/paws on the object, he creates a barrier that is fused with and surrounds the object and with this he can use inverse repel which is able to contain force within it. Though the user is not able to infuse himself directly to be able to absorb said force, he is able to use the technique on a clone by placing his paws on him and likewise, his clone can also fortify him. Since the force is not directly absorbed into the user's paws, it can not add up damage to a following paw art jutsu but the absorbed force can be used in conjuction with "Black Priest". In the situation where a clone/body is used as the absorber, it would increase their physical force for a one time usage thus adding the said amount of absorbed damage to their taijutsu, and this stays until they use it once and then its no more, although this does not in any way increase their speed. Apart from Bartholomew legends that can use "White Priest" on an S-Rank level, a bartholomew member with lower rank can only use it up to an A-rank level. If A normanl bartholomew uses it on an A-rank level, he has to wait 2 turns before he can used it again, however, using it for B-rank and below only requires a one turn wait. If a Legend uses this on an S-rank level, He has to wait 2 turns before reuse, however, using it on A-ranks requires one turn wait while B-ranks and below requires no wait.
Black Priest | Kuroi Sou: The Black Priest is known for his tyranny, an aggressive one coupled with his unrelenting hunger and thirst for blood. He is often found in horrific scene as he delights in his own evil demeanour basking in the gore of his enemy be it weak or strong. Thus this is the offensive variant where the user instead of using the inverse repel ability, focuses mainly on fortifying something using his repel ability. By simply touching something with his paws, the user is able to increase the lethality of the simplest of tools to the maximum by adding physical momentum and power to them by creating a repelling "aura" around them. The power of it is related to the chakra spent (varying from 20 to 80 damage points added by repelling effect). This can be used in conjuction with "White Priest" where the user after absorbing an attack with a said tool, he can then use the tool to attack with the absorbed damage however this also requires the user to use "Black Priest" spending a move but without spending chakra. Apart from Bartholomew legends that can use this on an S-Rank level, a bartholomew member with lower rank can only use it up to an A-rank level. If A normanl bartholomew uses it on an A-rank level, he has to wait 2 turns before he can used it again, however, using it for B-rank and below only requires a one turn wait. If a Legend uses this on an S-rank level, He has to wait 2 turns before reuse, however, using it on A-ranks requires one turn wait while B-ranks and below requires no wait. Once per battle though, legends and above can use this on a forbidden level but this makes them unable to use their paws for 4 turns after. Fortified weapon's power last 3 turns (if not used) or until when used once.
Restrictions and Drawbacks:
† Only a variant can be used per turn for a normal member but a batholomew legend is able to use at most 2 variants in one turn and that's if their individual restriction allows it although this does not apply to tools that combines the ability of the White and Black Priest as one which can be used by normal member but that is all that is to it. However using 2 variants in a turn(apart from the "White and Black Priest Combo") takes a toll on the user thus he can not use any paw art in the next turn.
† Black Priest carries up to S-rank damage(80 Damage Point) for Bartholomew legends and above while it carries up to A-rank damage(60 Damage point) for Normal members.
† A-Rank and above usages can only be done 4 times per battle.
† Can't use Ninjutsu above S-rank the next turn in which any variant is used.

He was indeed one of skill. Her attacks had failed easily, so she would have to take it up a notch. Her eye sight had returned better now, as he reacted to the weapons with a blast of Wind, easily hitting back her weapons. Laura couldn't help but scoff at the man, who made her techniques seem easy to defend against. Nonetheless, she would not falter, as she simply claps her hands together, focusing her Water chakra around her. This manifested forth a vortex of Water, which quickly bursts into being, spinning around herself, allowing her to defend not only against the weapons (which are thrown off) but also against the blast of Wind.

(Suiton: Suishōha) - Water Style: Water Shock Wave

Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-rank.

The water cascades out, aiming to interrupt him. However, Laura does not stop there, as she simply focuses her Earth chakra behind the man, causing several sharp spikes of Earth to emerge, and pierce his legs, through the knee, as well as aimed at hitting the Achilles Heel. This would render his legs difficult to use, as well as give Laura an advantage. She however, remained cautious, as the man had not yet revealed all his cards and might yet, prove dangerous, if not spell her death.

"That was only the beginning."

She boasted, gripping her sword tightly.

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes

Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.
