i try explaining it, to the clown up top, all i simple sad was most people who are like that and use it in a wrong way its not their fault, it's how they were raise for Christ sake, but if they know what they said and really don't care of it, and yes you have the right to your opinion but when you put it out in front of people face's that right becomes 0.(same as freedom of speak-only have it to a certain extent).

freedom of speech has limitations its wrong for parents to teach theyre children something that is clearly against the constitution

dude black people are ignorant some times they say nigga so much that the word has lost meaning and value theyve downgraded such a oppressive word to meaning "my friend of african decent" wtf! noone should say it....period. that word has too much power and its thrown around too much all the respect you and i have for it as turned into shit because so many people use it if things continue like this white peeps will start using the word then it will truly have lost all meaning

Black - Not liking to do this myself, but I as a black person, looks at your name "Swizzik" and assumes you are black, and if you aren't, you apparently want to talk or be like us, so how about not insulting YOUR people OR people you want to emulate.

Red- Yes. that is the exact reasoning why black people have used the word. How can anyone offend me by calling me something that everyone else does? It would be like calling my name. The reasoning behind the ORIGINAL intent of using the words ourselves was sound.
Also, that is not the only meaning for the word. It also describes a behavior of a person. Mostly the word ignorant as you said. So to call someone an ignorant "N", although redundant, gives EMPHASIS to the statement.

DarkRed- True, but a word is a word. You as a person give that word meaning. I don't care who you are, saying the "N" word to me has no effect, white, black, asian, latino/a, native american. I know who I am, the word doesnt define who I am. Do I use it? Yes, I do. Do people call me it and I respond? Yes, I do. Am I ignorant because of it? No, I am not? Why? Because I know who I am, and I could give two shits what anyone thinks of me other than the people I let into my house or WOULD let into my house. And trust me, if I even hint at you coming through my house, then you have been well versed in who I am, you accept and know me, and I accept and know you.

Green- All words have power and are used to much. There are plenty of other words that have been used for worse, and yet only this ONE word is stressed over by the WORLD. Why is it that people give so much control over something that really and truly has no affect over you at all, what-so-ever?

Blue- All the respect you and Dot have for what exactly? And where have you been, white people all over the world use the word. Most are cowards and gather in numbers when they use it. Some are bold and will say it not caring about the consequences that they may receive as they believe they are right. Others, want to be black themselves, so they use it to "fit in".
