A Better Tomorrow
As I look towards the gleaming sun,
I feel content and warm, with your hand in mine,
the time we share is sweet but fun,
and I hope we stay together, even further down the line.
The day I met you was the day I began feeling truly alive,
and I’ll never let anything tear us apart,
for you are the only person in the world for which I thrive,
the only person I hold deep in my heart.
You always cheer me up when I’m feeling down,
and you won’t let me go a day without saying you love me,
and I won’t let you go a minute with a frown,
with that being said, I can easily say that with us at each other's side, we are truly free.
