A new thread theorizing and elaborating on the symbolism of the statues of the colored page in chapter 671 made me come up with something quite crazy...
All this time, we thought Naruto would have to fight and kill Sasuke because Sasuke would oppose him and everyone else, but what if it were somehow reversed? What if in the possible final battle between the two, Naruto becomes antagonistic and Sasuke will be in the right?
Allow me to elaborate.
1) In the aforementioned thread, a user compared the hand sign Hagoromo was using on Naruto to one that is used to ward off evil.
2) Naruto faced his dark side, a sentient personality at the waterfall and supposedly expelled it, but at the end of the day, it is still a part of him and it has influenced he and Kurama.
3) Earlier on, when he had his second reunion and short clash with Sasuke, he imagined their roles being reversed.
4) It is well known that Kurama detests the Uchiha, especially Madara and we know little about the personality of his Yin half that rested with Minato in the shinigami.
5) Naruto's predecessor, Ashura reflects the asuras of Buddhism and Hinduism. The original asuras in hinduism were saints, but in Buddhism, they became vengeful multi-appendaged warriors that hated the devas and possessed faces reflecting their emotions, almost like split personalities. Naruto's statue depicts this version.
6) From what I've seen of Sasuke's statue, it doesn't seem to resemble anyone wicked. As I stated in another thread, it seems to look like a combination of Shiva and Siddhartha, the Buddha, both of which are regarded as saints. And Indra himself in Hinduism was a hero and a saint.
7) Now we know Naruto regards Sasuke as his friend, but he is also his rival who was jealous of him and loves Sakura in addition to becoming a bit prideful and having disdain for the village that regarded him as a pariah.
8) Tobirama revealed that the Uchiha state of mind and emotions can be altered by the power of their sharingan.
9) Similarly, it is implied Kaguya became consumed with her power, used it on the people and ruled the world out of fear like a demon.
10) Ashura and Indra were unable to resolve their conflicts or come to a compromise and killed each other while Madara and Hashirama reached a similar fate.
11) Naruto did not allow Gamamaru to give him his description of Naruto and Sasuke's fight.
Here is where my prediction comes into play.
What if either through this large power up Naruto receives, his dark personality or some sort of alpha omega fate where both brother's, no matter the incarnation must always be at odds with each other and not forever allies, Naruto loses himself and becomes antagonistic of Sasuke and everyone else. The vast mental energy he possibly receives not being natural to his Yang based lineage and warping his mind? Similar to how the god fruit warped kaguya and the sharingan warped the Uchiha. Yin Kurama also being a possibility of corrupting him as well as he may be Kurama, but he is not Yang Kurama and may harbor vengeance against Minato and the Uchiha for being captured, controlled and sealed. Reminds you of Jean Grey and Dark Phoenix from X-Men doesn't it? lols.
