against the 5 kages madara stated he can see trough mokuton clones so why
would he fell for such a jutsu.

Hashirama beat Madara so Hashirama won the fight. But yes, Hashirama won with difficulty. Madara was always a challenge for him.

Imo Madara was no match for him until this battle. Hashirama was throwing Madara around like a rag doll. Even when Madara came back with Susanoo mad because of his brother death one Manga chapter later Madara on the ground Hashirama donsen't even look like he's been touched.
