A another animal for the 6 Tails Bijuu

The Six Tails is a slug demon. But don't you think that another animal could've been substituted in it's place? Tsnuade and Sakura are identified with all things slugs but they never interact with the 6 Tails of the Mist Village or Ukataka. It just seems lazy on Kishi's part. Like why not use another animal like a bird. Japanese Mythology does have a multi-tailed phoenix created called Ho-Hou (like the PKMN).

In Japanese folklore the Eight tails is a Snake. But that would seem redudant given Orochimaru is so heavily associated with snakes. There Kishi made the 8 tails and Ox/Octopus instead.

Like the four symbols.

They are the Azure Dragon, of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Turtle of the North.

It would have been obvious had he kept it
asakujaku=bird of South
hirudora=tiger of West
night guy= dragon of East
evening elephant=..... Hmmm

His summon is a turtle tho.
