9 year old girl shooting her instructor

This has probably been posted before and most of you guys probably know about it already, but the incident where the 9 year old girl shot her "gun instructor" with an Uzi in Arizona was ridiculous on so many levels. Why should kids be taught to shoot in the first place?

I feel very sorry for the young girl, as she will have to live with the pain of having killed someone for the rest of her life. The fact that it was done inadvertently doesn't change that.

Actually, Im Going to call you out on your biased opinion.

The killer was not the gun, But the girl. I find it idiotic that the teacher would allow her to use the gun so carelessly. The instructor should have turned the safety off IMMEDIATELY after she stopped shooting, a gun takes a tremendous amount of responsibility and care. In my opinion, I don't think she should've been allowed to learn how to shoot at such a young age.

Guns Don't kill people. humans do.
