9 Tomoe Rinnegan or Mangekyo Rinnegan

Sasuke developed his Rinnegan far enough to be able to teleport to Kaguya's dimenions, which only she has been shown to do. Maybe he developed his Amenotejikara enough to do so? Or he used her teleportation technique?

What do they have in common?

-They both possess an eye that has the Sharingan,and Rinnegans powers
-Has tomoes
and
-Both have teleportation techniques

Besides their teleportation being very similar the name of the techniques are also similar.

Sasuke's allows him to teleport anything within a certain range, be it people or objects, while Kaguya's allows her to teleport anything to another dimension.

Sasuke's Eye is basically a watered down version of hers, and so is his teleportation.

If he used her teleportation, that would probably mean he awakened a 9 Tomoe Rinnegan like her, or perhaps he awakened a new eye - the Mangekyo Rinnegan, and used a new technique?

We know MS, and Rinnegan users all had their own unique power,

-Itachi/Sasuke - Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu,Enton (Brothers,same dna)
-Obito - Kamui
-Shishui - Kotoamatsukami
-Madara - Limbo
&
-Sasuke - Amentejikara - we know that's specifically his Rinnegans power (not tomoe rinnegan) because he used it without the tomoes

So in order to get a new eye technique he'd have to awaken the Mangekyo Rinnegan if that's possible.

I'm gonna guess that the "traces" of Kaguya he was tracking were residual pieces of her chakra left from when she opened portals between the NV and her dimension with Yomotsu Hirasaka. Sasuke is likely able to sync with that chakra, much like Obito did with Kaguya and Tobirama did with Minato's FTG marks. However, it takes considerably more chakra than with Obito as he is not just travelling through another's dimension with S/T, but opening the portal himself.

Obito only went to the Kamui dimension with his MS,and could only connect to Kaguya's other dimensions when he was in them, whereas Kaguya, and Sasuke can teleport to her dimensions from Earth.

Itachi used Tsukuyomi with his left eye,and each time Sasuke used Genjutsu with the MS, he did so with his right eye.

Itachi was skilled with Tsukuyomi, while weak with Amaterasu. Sasuke was skilled with Amaterasu,and weak with Genjutsu compared to Itachi.


They both had the same powers yet they used them in a different eye,and was skilled with one,while weak in another.

Also,when Itachi used Tsukuyomi we saw that black world - that also appeared when Sasuke used Genjutsu on Bee.

Kaguya's eye is not a Rinnegan.

Furthermore, Sasuke's Rinnegan was always a Rinnegan that bore the power of the Sharingan and Mangekyou Sharingan. Whenever he retracts his Mangekyou Sharingan, his Rinnegan loses its tomoe.
