It wasn't just jet fuel once the fire started- with all the electronic system in the building and burnable material lying around. And heat doesn't have to "melt" steel at all. It only needs to make it soft enough to bend and collapse under the weight. Which would happen a lot sooner than it reaches the actual melting point ( the liquid state). Why try to use science if you are not going to use the fact properly?

im no expert in history. but the japanese attacked the us army station in pearl harbor right? they killed a bunch of people yea and sure did other stuff during those times. it was a world war after all. however, how does that justify 2 ****ing nukes being dropped on cities full of civilians? during a time japan was about to surrender anyways... ill tell you how they justified this. it was a test. U_U

The crash itself by the planes would have most likely damadged the structure around impact, so those massive steel beams would collapse under their own immense weight after being further weakened by the intense flames that followed. You're as dumb as you sound if you believe they have to be melted for them "fail".
