911 was staged af. Even the fire fighters said that when they were inside they heard bombs going off on the upper floors.

Everybody and their mothers know at this point it was an inside job.

Shit overrated if you ask me. America dropped a bomb and killed over 150k innocent people but we got to go through this 911 bs when terrorist(American government) kills about 3000 people.

9/11 is tomorrow. It wasn't even that big of a deal. I understand people died but it wasn't nearly as bad as people make it seem.
According to google these are the puny stats of how many people died
"The September 11 attacks killed 2,996 people and injured more than 6,000 others."

That is nothing worth mourning for over 10 years. And it doesn't deserve a day of recognition either. Imagine how Japanese feel after the Japanese Tsunami in 2011? That killed like 15 thousand people. They have a right to cry and mourn.
9/11 is one of the most overrated events in American history next to the Titanic!

The 1931 China floods killed 1-4 million people but they aren't crying about it
.

EDIT: Look at all these butthurts people disliking this video cause it made fun of 9/11

Sure you can find other tragedies with a bigger list of deaths. But you forget it doesn't make this incident less significant for USA. They didn't expect to be hit back ever being on a far away continent.

The Trade center housed international crowd. A lot of people in that building that day had the misfortune of going to a business trip to USA that week. Why are you comparing the incident with a flood in 1931? That was a tragedy caused by nature and not a sudden violent deaths of hundreds of people from all around the globe.

And more so it affects many more people's life after the incident too. Those who died or injured had their families and friends too. The hostility and mutual distrust between people of different background, racial profiling and racial attacks, students career's in limbo and what not was generated that day leaving a lasting effect.

41 Indians were among the deads in that attack. One of our family friend had gone for studying as a pilot in USA. His marriage was due in a few month on his return. 9/11 happened and he got his training suspended for almost three years. Their whole life was on a stalemate-full of anxiety and worries as it was a big investment and being from a middle class family they didn't know what to do.

Making fun of such incidents is in bad taste.

Most of the people who were too young at the time to feel the impact or too far away and cut off from the scene aren't going to be affected the same way. That's only natural. But you simply cannot tell people who were affected to forget it that easily.

Such as the world is. Feminists making any point possible yet don't fight for those in third world countries in worse situations.

There's a difference between the examples you've given.
One was done on purpose by terrorists and on home soil.

The other two were natural causes.

I love how you inserted "home soil" when all disasters occur on earth lol

Why does it matter if its natural or not? Im pretty sure there are wars and other human caused events where thousands of people die. 9/11 is a sensitive crybaby fest

It was a big deal. But you have a point people don't care for other disasters as much.

It's not the worst diaster in American or world history, but it brought huge implications and changed the way we think about secruity forever. You can't just forget an attack like 9/11. It was the stuff of nightmares for secruity and it happened in real ife plus there's no doubt Americans are very concerned about national secruity. That's something that will forever be remembered and you have to remember it was an attack on the WTC which was a quite famous building. Even if you think it's overrated there's no need to try to disrespect people who take and remember the attack very seriously. If a loved one of yours died in there, you wouldn't just pass off the attack as just another miniscule overrated diaster.

Maybe you need to remember it actually being played out to understand.
Statistically speaking, it may not be a big deal in your mind or for anyone who doesn't live in the US.
And it's not so much that the attack happened on the mainland US, but rather that it wasn't a military attack.

4 commercial jets full of people easily commandeered and used as weapons?

Flying said planes full of people into buildings full of people?

The fact that worse things have happened doesn't decrease the horror of this event. You might push it to the back of your mind as you're aggravated about waiting through airport security, but you're also hoping that all that security prevents something like 9/11 from happening again.

The US are the real terrorists, and these other extremist groups exist because of the US so they had everything coming.

I really wish I was there when they were discussing the ideas for that commercial.

I have to agree with this.

Not a single person justified all these years of crying and mourning over the lives lost in 9/11. All the events that memorialize it are in vain. It happened 15 years ago, our youth doesn't care anymore. I would rather mourn a paper cut for nearly two decades than spend a single second crying about 3000 people that are LONG gone. 9/11 isn't a severe disaster on ANY level. There is a difference between it waking us up to the threat of terrorism, and people being super sensitive about it for all these years. If one of my loved ones died I would've been over it after a couple years. 9/11 victims are pretentious people who take american's niceness for granted. We don't need to have public events and a special day for it. There are people getting their heads cut off by ISIS, people starving in Africa, etc.

It's probably the least gruesome disaster, it's overrated. And it's pointless. I'd tell a army vet and a 9/11 survivor that to their face!

They don't need to justify. People mourn an incident happened even centuries ago. They make it a religious/cultural tradition and custom and even take it to new countries they move. It's still new for the generation that was affected directly.

Besides it doesn't seem like you have much empathy for the dead people in bigger disasters either. It's just all about you and your surroundings.
