gai beats everyone in akatsuki except obito. he cant hit obito if hes phasing pretty simple. he would shrek itachi. even if yata were supposdedly able to block everything he would still die cause it only protects his front. but he would be getting blitzed from all sides by gai and susanoo would be gone in a nano second.

Once Guy hit one or two hit with Evening Elephant, then It's over for Kakuzu. Sasori can't even survive Sakura's punch, so Guy stomps. Madara was flying away while Guy used his footspeed to attack.

Ot- 8th gate guy beats everyone in akatsuki, including Nagato and Obito

Guy can last it longer than Madara Jin, and now he can spam so much Evening Elephant he wants to destroy all Akatsukis except Obito and Itachi.

I guess you're forgetting Nagato is there too huh? Deva path stops Gai from moving while Hidan takes his blood and kills Gai. Or Nagato solos him. Kisame fuses with Samehada so before Gai even hits him, Kisame absorbs Gai's chakra and he can heal his damages with the chakra he absorbs as shown when Bee blew off Kisame's chest and he healed it when Samehada gave him chakra before they fused. Deidara's nano bombs take Gai out since he can't see it or even know about it. Sasori use his many puppets to distract Gai as the 3rd Kazekage puppet use his poison imbued steel. Konan distracts with her paper or wraps Gai with it so he can't breathe. Heck you can add Orochimaru or Taka yo Akatsuki since both were Akatsuki as well but they clearly don't need them with ways I said they can do to take Gai out and most of that is their individual power but when you look at it as them all fighting as a team would make it wayyyy worst for Gai.

You do know Madara allow himself to get hurt right? Gai was said to get more power than the 5 Kages but guess what, Edo Madara took down the 5 Kages without being serious and called it child's play and that's him weaker than alive Madara then he's even weaker than JJ Madara. Gai stronger than 5 Kages? Well each person in Akatsuki is Kage level (except with Nagato who's above Kage level) and there's much more than 5 of them.

There's no way that Itachi, even with Yata Mirror, could withstand Guy's 8 Gates the entire time. He'd most definitely die of stress from the beating he'd have to defend himself from.

And Obito, Guy's 8 Gates distorts space itself. So there's a chance that Kamui would messed up and not work around Guy. Obito has the best chance though.

He can't beat Nagato. He kills the 6 paths in about a second, then dies. Meanwhile, Nagato is sitting in his tower eating his way through a mountain of tiny cheeses.

Only Obito is the case due to intangibility. However, going to the Kamui world and waiting for 10 mins is practically BFR and if the distance isn't that great, Gai would blitz him before anything.

You are also forgetting that Guy distorted the space? Guy's speed > All Akatsuki. There was a reason why I did add Nagato here, and Kisame as huge chakra pool. Deidara cannot even dodge or block one Evening Elephant hit at all, so why do actually Guy let him using bombs when he already knows how it works since the start of Shippuden?

AND there is also a reason why I did not add Itachi and Obito here was because they have the knowledge about Guy's jutsus and abilities. Remember, to beat Guy, you either have to survive or manage to kill him during that state, but escape is not allowed.

Gai in 8th Gate murders the entire Akatsuki in instants. He blitzed, ragdolled and stomped Juudara who would pummel the Akatsuki like nothing. Obito is not reacting to 8th Gate speed, so even his Kamui can't do anything.

I also remember a Kunai being thrown from behind Gai out speeding Gai. Gai would be fighting the whole team so Deidara can use his bombs as konan's papers, Kisame's hidden mist, or Sasori's many puppets. Konan's papers can become sharp and impale so hidden mist mixed with Konan's paper Shurikens can injure or kill Gai. Gai feels pain of going 8th gate for the start of his fight then started to get use to the pain. Hidan goes to Attack Gai who in turn attacks Hidan but in that same moment Sasori use his chakra threads to take control of Gai's bodies which gives Hidan the time to use his scythe to kill Gai or take his blood for his ritual. Samehada can a large amount of absorb such as 6 tails worth of chakra which is a lot, per slash as we seen in Kisame vs Bee. I don't see Gai having that Bijuu chakra and Kisame fused with Samehada allows him to absorb chakra and heal himself so even as Gai hurts Kisame, Kisame will heal and take a large chuck of Gai's chakra and when he hits 0 he dies.

Nagato can pull Gai to him and pull out Gai's soul, Nagato is a sensor and have the Rinnegan. Kisame is also a sensor with Samehada. Nagato can make use of his multiplying dog, rhino, bird that drops exploding eggs, lizard that can go invisible, and many more. For Sasori's puppets, Sasori can still move his puppet's parts with his chakra threads to move their bladed arms. Plus he can use it on Hidan to increase speed and reaction as the immortal fighter fights.

Nagato Neg-diffs Gai. Konan also beats him mid-diff. Stop using 8th gate Gai feats vs JJ Madara as a measure of his power. Madara was messing around when he fough Gai, serious JJ Madara would have destroyed Gai easy.
