i was just thinking, why was the 8th gate made out to be such a special upgrade. i know it was powerful and all, but here me out. the purpose of the 8th gate is to unlock the shackles that the body naturally has. the gates each have different names with different symptoms to the body, like increased strength and what not.but in the end they are all really doing the same thing, overflowing the chakra network with more chakra. But my question is, how does this differ from a jinchuuriki?

think about it, a perfect jin, or juubi jin is able to access the full chakra of a bijuu, which has way more than any human even with eight gates, would have. when they use this power it increases their speed, healing, strength, reflexes, and overall chakra output to an extreme amount. this is basically the same effect that the gates have. considering that a gate user is ultimately able to do the things it does because of the excess chakra, why was gai able to beat madara to a bloody pulp?

the juubi is the ultimate being of chakra in the naruto verse, and madara is it's jinchuuriki. madara has unlimited access to all of this chakra t do with what he pleases. this chakra is leaps and bounds greater than what even the 8th gate should be able to muster. so by that definition, shouldn't everything that gai did be possible by basically any jinchuuriki as they posses way more chakra than a human would. if gai was able to bend space just by his movement, shouldn't madara or naruto be able to do the same as they command more chakra than gai? remember ninja's achieve these speeds by using chakra as a boost, and they would have plenty of it. the same goes for their strength as well, and so on and so forth.

so, i guess what i'm really saying is, gai shouldn't have made madara look like a joke. if anything he shouldn't even have pushed madara into a corner. thoughts?

i belive it because jinchuriki mostly use the excess chakra for jutsu but seeing how the only weakness of the jubbi was senjutsu and taijutsu it makes sense that guy would have a bit of a atvantage
oh and nice thinking

It is probably because the 8th gate is forbidden and able to use god level techniques surpassing the tailed beasts. thats my thought anyways.

they only gain these techs because of the vast amounts of chakra that they now have surging through them. jinchuuriki have vast amounts of chakra and should be able to do the same thing.

No, besides giving you more chakra, the gates also ... "unlocks" your body. When fighting a Jinchuuriki even though they have tailed beast chakra levels, they still have the body of a human, and are ruled by this. So, when one opens the first gate, which enables to use their brains to their limits (whatever that is) they already have an advantage over a Jin, and it's not entirely chakra related:

So, bottom line, even if the gates also give you more chakra than usual, it allows you to use your body, muscles and what not more freely.
