No way would anyone in their right mind think a gang of Chunin levels who get blitzed by Boruto stream of all things would be superior to a gang Jonin levels.

Shizuma who is Jonin at the age of 18 (Choji,Kiba,Sakura, Iruka and most of the leaf village never became Jonin and Naruto was a Genin at this age) Shizuma is has stronger durablity then 7th Hokage Naruto.

The 7 Swordsmen of the Mist are said to be Kage level on par with the Mizukage.

Chunin level is ntn to a Jonin which is a different class by itself for elites who operate on a higher level physically. Its like comparing CE2 Sasuke who's chunin level to Asuma. The sound 4 who are high chunin level in base needed to use CM2 in order to bump their stats to a level where they can deal with 2 Jonin.

CE2 Sasuke is chunin level this is in fact true. And Boruto is stronger then that. Mitsuki is a sage mode user stronger then orochimaru who is no match for the Jonin Shizuma.

Now we have a speedster like Adult Lee on that level with the strongest kid from the new swordmen getting blitzed by Boruto stream , much less Adult Lee's base speed. But ur so dumb u have adult Lee in 8 Gates mode..

We can measure the speed based on panels. Look at the panel where Guy was running beside Kakashi who had a Raikiri in his hand. They were at equal pace. You can't say he was holding back his full speed because he just had released his 6 gates, just before running with Kakashi towards Rinnegan Tobi.

Why did Kakashi say Gai surpassed him only after releasing the eighth gate? Also gai might've jumped into the air and kicked it. The tailed beasts were running thier way so gai shouldnt necessarily close the distance.

Can't say for sure. Tailed beasts ran at gai earlier is very likely so he jumped and kicked it. You would've been right if the only ones running were gai and Kakashi. But that's not the case.

In the same scan you posted, the tailed beasts were running in different paces, some slower than other. It's not a stretch to say one of them reached guy faster. Plus, distance can't be measured with that view of the panel, it should be (the panel should be) more horizontal to get an accurate look at the pace of running.
