8th Gate guy's speed is hideously over-rated.

In the time it took him to get from where he activate his first Elephant to his second one ( No more than 70 metres, as Minato more or less confirms ) They manage to form a plan of attack, Lee activates the 6th gate, and Madara get's up and has time to look around Ect.

Not to mention the fact that A stunned Madara that "Can't move" Managed to see his fastest move coming, and prepare for it.

The Kunai Lee threw managed to GAIN on Gai in seconds, meaning either Lee's throwing speed is = FTG or Gai is going hella slower than what he's being wanked to be.

Not to mention the fact that Kakashi on his sand bus was somehow infront of Guy towards the end of their assault.


So either Gai is going so fast that he's going slow, or Kishi has just made Rock lee's throw > Instant

After his first block failed, he went to a 360 degree block which would've worked. Hell, the black orbs would've killed Gai had Lee/Minato not helped. Madara isn't stupid and has figured out Gai's technique, therefore, I'm guessing it will NOT work again.

Plot is Gai knowing how to use an 8th gate jutsu perfectly, when NO-ONE has ever practiced or even done it before.
Plot was rock lee throwing Minato's Kunai with such speed that it CAUGHT up to 8th gate guy in less than a second.
Plot is Minato being able to FTG to his Kunai and end up facing what ever way he wants.
Plot is Gai being able to kick up the air without leaving any craters in the floor, and then creating a MASSIVE crater with one that doesn't give him any recoil.
