A is currently the weakest kage so the position of who's the general argument fails. He has one arm and super shunshin with lightnening cloak, if you compare that arsenal to the other kages and his intelligence to the other kages you'd see the power gap.
We don't know who's faster A or Gai. But A would have to survive Morning Peacock and Noon Tiger then whatever Gai's 8th gate tech is. Don't say that A won't try to overpower Gai with morning tiger because he tried to out power Sasuke's chidori while knowing exactly what it did. He'd rush blindly into Gai's Morning tiger without knowing the full effects of what it does. Gai's morning peacock is a good distance attack that would have A going crazy dodging every strike. I say 8th gate guy takes this.

Imo guy would demolish A in 8gates. It would be a better match if Guy were 7 gates.

8th gate has no feats and A's an already superior version of gai. he can outlast gai with ease as he has bijuu level chakra and his raiton mode doesnt slowly kill him.
