8th Gate Guy Speed

In 7th Gate, he is so fast, he was able to close the distance between him and Madara in an instant.

In 8th Gate? Well I can't imagine the speed levels.


In manga, the third power is generally much greater than the previous two. SS3 compared to SS1. Perfect Cell compared to Cell. Prime Raizen compared to the other two Kings. etc

Here, we will see the final power and it will be so fast.

Since his body is being literally expended into energy he could leave trails of after images everywhere.

While Gai opened the 7th gate and landed a frontal attack on Rikodou Madara, and obviously 8 gates is more powerful than 7, so of course he'll get a speed boost, and a power boost, and that spped boost will put him above even Tobirama's fastest speed.

TGJ they move slow when the reappear but gai speed don't slow down it just speeds up

Naruto Bijuu Mode's speed can still be seen with the Sharingan. Edo Madara blocked him easily. Bijuu/Sage Mode speed maybe able to. Remember he and Sasuke were able to follow Obito jinchuriki.

That wasn't the speed that deflected TBBs, Naruto doesn't move on such speeds casually it happened only sometimes. And that was really very fast, to intercept every TBB almost at the same time and to travel [maybe] 1/2 Km in just one jump is something...

I'm sorry, but if you don't bring Tsunade's milk into this matter, you don't have proof of him achieving the needed physical energy to use the eighth gate. Manga facts please U_U (Lol)

Minato/Tobirama is at point A. Point B is the kunai/the marker on Obito's back. Point C is Obito/Madara.

We know that Someone can't teleport inside someone so the teleport puts them within striking distance which can be anywhere from touching to a foot away. We also know that if he teleported and was touching Obito, he would need to draw his arm back and then punch/hit with Rasengan or whatever. Assuming he was ready to attack when he teleports he would probably need to be right around 4 inches away at least to allow for his arm to gain significant momentum to hit with any damaging force.

So if the time it takes for Minato/Tobirama to teleport to point B from point A is 0 seconds and the time it takes for his attack to get from point B to point C is lets say 50 milliseconds or .05 seconds. The total attack time is 0 + 0.05 = 0.05 seconds.

We also know that while Minato/Tobirama is faster than guy in terms of teleporting, there is no evidence that they can beat Gai in regular movement speed. So what I am saying is that if Gai can get from point A to Point B and then to point C in under .05 seconds then he is faster than Minato/Tobirama and can theoretically get hits in on Madara.

The time for Minato/Tobiramas attack doesn't relly matter but it has to take some amount of time. Basically what I am saying is that while Gai cant beat the teleport speed, he might be able to beat the total speed of the attack in the 8th gate.

Well, it takes a certain time for Minato to think of FTG. Gai can react faster than that time.

EXACTA!!! what I was going to post myself though I gotta say I cldn't have put it better myself Kudos on making it somewhat succinct. Pple always say u cant beat instict but forget Tobi and Minato body movements within one point are still just humanly possible it is only distance closing i.e the 20m btween Minato and Madara that they negate time and get there in 0seconds but u still gotta account for the movemnt from appear point to actually hitting the target while for Gai if he dashes to kick u there is no decelaration just closing of a 20m gap in 0.1milli seconds.

Read the chapter again, Madara was able to dodge all of Guy's attack. It was even commented later when Kakashi said that even Taijutsu wouldn't work against him. Hinting towards that Guy never actually managed to hit Madara a single time. You can also see from the panel that none of the attacks actually connect with Madara. However, Guy was able to make Madara dodge away. Something that is alone a pretty big thing.
