Think about how OP he was in six (or seven not sure) gates mode, I'm sorry but his speed and power in eight gates would solo almost anyone but would result in his death.

Madara is immensely more powerful on a regular basis, but Guy's life sacrificing move will be on par with god.

Only reason he isnt beating Obito is due to his cowardly technique, though it wouldnt end in Obitos favour as well.

Injured Gai in base mode used a lower scale hirudora against Madara. Say what you want about edo power restriction, he was pretty much at full power compared to Gai yet got blasted away.

Why else would Kishi leave out two powerful melee speedsters in major battles? He knows Lee and Gai got that Dragon Ball Z swag aand can blitz most of NV. Hell, Hirudora can even take out CT and Madaras gay meteor.

i am an obito fan, but i have to admit that 8 gates gai could take on obito, even with kamui. it would be the same story with minato. minato didnt have kamui like kakashi but could land a hit. so can guy.

I know Lee does. But does Gai use them? Do we have proof? Also I believe Lee took them off for the war.

Remember Rock Lee's match against Gaara at the chunnin exams...he took the weights off during the fight and drastically increased his speed...
