8 gates inevitable?

Wondering if people think that either lee or guy will eventually release the 8 gates.

Kishi has never been one to mention something, and not reveal it later.

I'm very sorry to tell you that after the last released chapters, it's very unlikely to see the eight gates.

Reasons:

- 8 gates give its user a power far similar (even beyond) the Kage level.

- Madara couldn't be defeated by 5 Kages at same time.

- In its current state, Obito is way more dangerous than Madara, even if Obito has the potential to die.

Conclusion:

The eight gates are useless in the current chapters, because as far as we know Lee and Gai doesn't know sealing techniques so they are only capable to deal damage to Obito, and as we saw, Obito is dangerous as hell in short range distance.

Well , no it is not bad. However the hokages are always ahead the others i guess XD

Yah but Guy was about to release the 8 gatse before, and now it seems even more hopeless. With Shikamaru's speech to spur on the fodders, I'm thinking or just hoping we might see everyone pull out all their aces, even if it means death.

More than half of the alliance died already.

This is a shounen manga, not seinen... It wouldn't be very wise to assume that more deaths are comming, even this being a war.

Of course, you got a point, Gai was almost there with his techniques, but it was when Tobi still could be defeated by Jounin level ninjas.

I don't think it'll happen.

The whole "Kishi made Kakashi and others talk about it, so it's going to happen one way or another" is stupid logic. Not every Jutsu/Power that is talked about actually happens.
