Sasuke could casually cut in a half a Shinjuu powered Madara, Gai had to go all out and did less damage to a weaker Madara. Sasuke's Susano'o grants him him power far beyond that, capable of slicing up Chibaku Tensei's whose rubble dwarfs several mountain ranges. Power is in Sasuke's favor by a mile. Sasuke's Susano'o and Teleportation hax makes him essentially untouchable as well, all while he can end Gai while porting a sword in his chest.
