This is a link to the wiki of the new game. It has Rock Lee and Gai with 8 gates mode under confirmed playable characters. Does this mean we will soon see the 8 gates in action? Perhaps they will survive due to Kurama chakra? Apparently not. Do you think they will soon die?

They may still end up dying though. Anyway, answer to your question: yeah, I think the 8th gate may be shown to us soon. Such god-level kinjutsu can't just be hidden from the plot

I believe 8 gates mode refers to a certain ammount of gates to be used (Lee: 5, Gai: 7)

But regardless, we will be seeing the 8th gate soon anyways.

Lee's life will become endangered, and Gai will protect him with the 8th Gate....because remember the requirement to use it is to protect something precious to you!
