That talk was longer than 10 minutes. Add the figt in 699 and it's definitely above 10 minutes.

in naruto, the talks in the "thought dimension" usually seem to take place in a time distortion. naruto talking to obito took almost no time at all in the "real world" given that when we returned to the real time, it seemed like no time had passed at all

Dream sequence? One thing we know is as long as the talk was going on, they were still fighting. That's all.

If not, Gai and Madara should be looking in that same state when Naruto's talk just finished but we had them looking in an entirely different state exactly when the talk was over with us seeing Gaara and Kakashi were worn out as well.

Just letting y'all know, Naruto's conversation with Hagomoro could have been taking place during the actual fight, or in a time distortion which took no time at all. At any rate, we don't know how much time that was for Gai and most likely didn't take any time, and shouldn't be used in an argument.
