I'll admit you convinced me that guy in 7 gates is completely superior in taijutsu/striking speed, but I stand by what I said about him getting marked. Minato can go from 1 to 2 to a dozen of him. Is guy gonna out CQC all Minatos without getting marked? Clones can also mark and sacrifice themselves by taking a hit in order to perform a marking, there are various methods.

He formed Hobi right before Bijuu Dama exploded, point blank, in his face. If Gai comes at him, he protects himself with a dome and then one shots with Kajukai Korin.

Both of those scans don't show the sound barrier being broken. The first time we saw that was when Gai went 6G and we saw a sonic boom while he blitzed Kisame.

BD certainly doesn't explode before Gai can use AT, not when hes already in 7G. After the BD is charged (AT would already hit its target by then) it shoots and the way they explode has varied in the series but most of the time, it explodes once it gets far off. It can even rip through solid objects and still not explode (Leaf Village, Rashomon Gates, Earth Wall etc.) until it reaches a certain point. I don't know why that is but it just is. Either way AT has better feats of traveling speed and the speed at which it explodes once it hits its target.

Base Madara is comparable to Base Hashirama, and Base Madara blitzed SM Naruto. Hashirama reacted to Kurama's Bijuu Dama, which crossed a whole ocean in a matter of seconds. Pretty sure he can clap his hands before Gai, someone on Ay's speed level, can cross 30 meters and pound him into the ground.

Why in the world are you referencing the charge time and firing when I only said that the explosion occurs faster than Hirudora can be fired and landed on the target? Nothing else, just the explosion.
