So I've read multiple threads and looked at multiple "sources"

Both claiming either two things

-Naruto ends Nov 10th with 699 chapters (which would be kinda lame..)

-Naruto ends Nov 15th or 17th with 700 chapters



Anyone know or have a 100 percent source or 100 percent translated scan?
I did see a scan that said 4 weeks left when it was chapter 696 I think. Wouldn't that mean 700?

I thought it was announced as 5 more chapters at the time 695 was released, which would make it chapter 700. November 10th is just some ''major announcement." Some people think that might be when they announce Part 3 - Naruto Moon Chronicles.

I think the 15th-17th date comes from people who mistakenly think that the translations come out a few days after the magazine is published. They don't understand that fan translations are leaks that come out a few days before the magazine is published.

But I can't explain how come the magazine said it ends Nov. 10th, but chapter 695 came out with a "5 more weeks!" message on the color spread, with the Shonen Jump editor saying 5 chapters left on the day 694 came out. While the magazine may or may not have shared some conflicting info, the Naruto website itself does have a countdown that goes to Nov. 10th.
