70 years ago on this day, 4,414 young men of the free world strode onto the beaches of Normandy in France and never returned. Their sacrifice shaped the destiny of western civilization, helping to turn the tide in the most bloodily horrific war the human race has ever seen. I just would like to remind of those who paid the ultimate price yesterday for us, for a better today. God Bless.

It is in about 22 days that we mark the hundredth year the Austro-Hungarian Archduke was assassinated. If anything, it was world war one that is the worst war in human history, because it is the reason why we had a second one, the rise of soviet russia, the cold war, and everything that became a result of the cold war.

We are still haunted by the first one.

A tragic moment for all of humanity, a shame that's the way history went. If it weren't for his chauffeur's ONE WRONG TURN, the course of human history would have been changed utterly. Hitler would not have risen. Russia would not have fallen to the Bolsheviks. No Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. No 9/11.

I concur.

Also, WWI damaged people in ways worse than WWII ever could.
