Hey guys, its me AGAIN.
Just wanna leave a question with youse that i've been pondering about ever since coming back to One Piece in 2011.
You know back in the day, when one piece aired on Television. Whenever they made reference to the "Seven Warlords of the Sea" aka "Shichibukai" they would've shown this image:
Now then, later on the story we find out that the shichibukai are not what we were shown but in fact they are pirates:
And later on this:
Now my question to all youse is that when you reckon Oda decided to change the concept of who and what the Shichibukai would be?
Would you have preferred the 7 silhouetted swordsmen [ with their own cool stories ] over the 7 pirate outlaws that exist today?
Pirates or Swordsmen [ samurai ]?

My personal opinion, i like the fact that Oda-sensei changed his mind on how the shichibukai will be. Because having 7 samurai would've leaned towards other anime like Naruto's 7 mist swordsmen and Bleach [ sword fetishs happen] U_U
