if no one noticed in the NEP, Shikamaru informs Naruto that Kakashi is being chosen as the next hokage. Thats where he shows that shocked face then proceeds to meet him where Kakashi tells him hes only holding the position for Naruto to mature fully.

Im excited for the aftermath arc & to see who the 3rd otsusuki was next to momo and kin. Im almost certain Sasuke encounters him during his redemption to see the world and from that point he extends his journey to travel dimensions.

I honestly really want to see the days with Kakashi as the Hokage. I was kinda saddened when they just show him as Hokage, then skip to Naruto becoming Hokage. So many things could've happened during that time period, did he ever fight? If he did, how good is he now? What missions did he do?

Hopefully SP fills that huge gap in the Naruto history that Kishi never shown. I mean, Naruto is pretty much over now, so wouldn't have to worry about finishing chapters anymore.

Kakashi is lying, he only took the position because he didn't believe in his own abilities, now that Obito's powers were gone. So instead of embarrassing himself on missions, he would sit back and assign them.
