6Paths of Pain never stomped Jiraya

unlike many fights in Naruto, this is one of the few where it showed a clear victory.

you can't expect someone to have intel on their opponent. This shows a true battle of power and skill, and Nagato/Pain prevailed.

Fights like Kakashi vs Obito where it's debatable who won since many argue that Obito didn't have full chakra and kakashi did

or Kisame vs Gai where kisame didn't have samehada, etc, etc.


Jiraiya vs Pain was a battle where both parties were at full power, had little intel on either persons abilties, and had no interruption by a third party.....they used only what was in their arsenal

Never is it shown Jiraiya was dead; when he was stabbed he had the protection of his thick hair. When inside water ; he was in amphibian mode . He should not have been died.

First off nothing suggests he had to rest after the fight, he merely claims that Jiraiya delayed him, nothing more nothing less.

Second realize that he also had a tremendous location advantage due to the pipes, when he used Frog Song,

Again he clearly would of gotten stomped by the original three, had he not tried to retreat,

As for your whole argument as to why Deva actually participated, i mean he clearly used a barrier to trap one of the pains, and i see no reason why he wouldn't use it right away, as it looks like he was using it as a means to escape once again,

"Charged right in my Barrier" As in he un-unexpectedly got in the Barrier, also why you think that he managed to hold his own, when he actually tried do, he got stomped pretty hard

nothing suggests Deva had to do anything.
As we know of Nagato's character he clearly has respect for strong shinobi, the praise he garners Jiraiya is merely that, respect...Doesn't mean much, we all know even with Intel he would of gotten stomped pretty hard....IMO The sannin in General are not all that strong.

Agreed with this. As for Pain saying he would lose with intel that was praise which he said, with the feats given knowledge or no knowledge Pain takes him. I don't think the fight was a stomp, I don't really use that term, but Pain hardly gave it his all in that fight.

I wouldn't say he was stomped on, I would say he was defeated and brutally murdered. One of the most graphic deaths in Naruto by far.

Pain even said that if Jaraiya knew everything about the rinnegan, there is a good chance that Pain would of lost.

Jiraya got merked. He took out 3 peins that were brought back to life and Deva Path didn't even make a move.

Imagine if Deva was around when he was fighting Ceberus summon. Lol!

The reason why I believe that Pain said that he would've lost had Jiraiya known their secret is because he was fighting in his own village. IMO Pain would have never used Chibaku Tensei or the concentrated ST while he was in his own village.Why else would he say that, we have never seen any technique from Jiraiya which can counter Chibaku Tensei or even of that scale.

I'm at a loss at stomped....anywho I believe he got defeated quite convincingly. Albeit he put up one hell of a fight, killing three paths, gaining information. If you look at that he could be seen as the winner, because his knowledge on pain lead to his defeat. Although....he himself directly got imho utterly defeated by pain.
