693 proved why Naruto doesn't see the bigger picture

When Sasuke put Sakura under the genjutsu, I feel it showed an example of him thinking ahead. Albeit it didn't need to be a very cruel one, but it's still better than her dying by getting in the way of the fight. I feel that Naruto failing to realize that and not even taking action in trying to stop her showed that he thinks with one foot after another. What would have happened if they proceeded to go to the VOTE and she proceeded to follow them? She would have inevitably died and her blood would have been on both of their hands. I know this is just a small thing, but it's the little things like this that we can assume things from.

Naruto didn't try to stop her because he wanted to give her a turn to try and convince sasuke to stop.

Most likely Kakashi would've collapsed and Sakura would've taken care of him or Kakashi/Naruto would've told her to not intervene again. I believe Kakashi already warned her of this in the previous chapter, either way the likelihood of Sakura going to vote and intervening is low; Sakura is a smart girl after all, she wouldn't haphazardly intervene when she can not stop neither of the players imo.

I guess some people don't get the big picture If they think Naruto is looking at this simply. I'm pretty sure If Sakura stayed quiet, and wouldve let Naruto and Sasuke go about their way, he wouldn't have genjutsu'ed her.
