If IT's weakness was that it only workes for 12 hours at a time, madara needs a much better plan.

The moon covers the sun, so if the sun rises then that must mean the moon sets. Since IT needs the moon, then the moon setting means no more IT. But then again the guy a few posts above me said it's just speculation, so....

Sunrise doesn't make the moon set. Their cycles are independent of each other. In fact, there are even times when the moon covers the sun.

IT affected all of the humans in the world in the Narutoverse, not just for whom the moon was visible in the sky if the Narutoverse takes place on a globe. There would have been places where you can't see the moon.
