[A large explosion of red steam ensues, blowing Madara back]

[Gai is shown punching Madara several times with flaming fists]
[Gai punches Madara on the cheek, propelling him into a cliff]
[Madara is seen healing]
Madara: (He's holding back...Probably to reduce the tension on his heart)
Gai: Gah!
[Gai clenches his chest]
Gai: (Even using Asakujaku strains my heart in this state!)
Gai: (I need to finish this quickly...)
[Madara is seen floating]
Madara: (I'll just fly beyond his leaping distance and wait until his heart gives out)
[Madara flies up to the end of the troposphere]
Madara: (This should be high enough)
Gai: (This gives me a chance to use an intermediate Death Gate technique)
[Gai creates a fist and the air is seen shimmering around it]
Hirudora Missile!
[A fist-sized Hirudora is launched from his fist]
Kakashi: What power!
Madara: (That thing's coming in fast!)
[Madara creates a black aegis]
[The small Hirudora moves above the aegis]
[The jutsu strikes Madara's chest]
[A Hirudora sized explosion ensues]
Gai: (I don't know how much more my heart can take!)

[Madara is seen plummeting to the ground]
Madara: (No...I refuse to die here!)
[Gai teleports behind Madara]

[A red lion shape appears]
