Supposedly kishi stated Naruto will end in 2014. If Orochimaru was to be the final villan, we would have to see how his parents die, his plans and him doing something. There won't be enough time for that even if we have Till half of 2015. We have to see

we still have to see a lot and if Orochimaru was the final villan we would not have enough time and the manga will be super milked. It took 20+ chapters to defeat obito so same will probably go for Madara and if Oro ecomes the new villan prob 20+ chapters for him too.


I think the reason Orochimaru is currently still alive and relevant is because he had to do edo tensei and soon un do it. Also i think he will help sasuke get a powerup.

Kishi never said "the manga will end by 2014"

That was a misinterpretation by fans of his actual statement which goes along the lines of "I plan to finish naruto in next few years"(or something to that extent)

People just added 2 to the current year(mid-late 2012) and assumed the manga would end during 2014.

But Madara will probably be the final villain. He probably wont be the final antagonist.(my opinion though)

The proof is taken from actual timing of the manga in deed, how else would you suggest as plausible that Orochimaru will once again break any borrowed ethical notion, turn against his current confederates -cuz well, he himself said he doesn´t care about the war-, take some jesu, sorry, talk no-jutsu, and of course be defeated?

I would like the story to end in about 2 years, however it has been stated by jump folks it´s already the end of the line for this gig

There always are ways to do things. But whatever, that's the reason I said the thread makes sense.

I'm pretty sure Orochimaru can do something else right now to form a twist, but it wouldn't be something that big.

At first I was thinking Madara would be the final villain but that would be incredibly lame if kishi dragged this out for the rest of 2014.

It's probably gonna be orochimaru, whose to say he doesn't have a plan? Its just not revealed yet, he's clearly buying time and waiting for a good time to strike.
