Amiss the arguments about this chapter, this is the first time everyone finally understands Naruto and Sasuke. Up until now only a few exceptions understood Naruto, I think even fewer understand Sasuke... maybe only really Naruto(I could be wrong). So they finally see and feel Naruto's conviction, weakness, and his heart for those in his life. This is why I think Itachi left it up to Naruto, he saw something good there.
