I don't think either of them know that Obito can undo Edo Tensei. Madara is solely focused on Hashirama, and just doesn't care about anything else. He thinks he is invincible in that form and is acting accordingly.

I suspect that if Obito were to kill Hashirama, Madara would snap, though.

Madara knows that if hashi goes that hashi and naruto will kill obito with their senjutsu attacks for sure...madara wants obito to be alive for certain reasons.!

I think it's just obito's attacks that ignore edo not normal chakra based attacks like a Tailed Beast Bomb.
