[Dust clears and Obito is seen completely unharmed]

A very good prediction, though most likely next chapter will just be Obito showing off how powerful he is, like the other recent chapters have been doing. However, I agree that Sasuke does need to be tempted by the past in order to prove that his current goals truly lie in the future.
