I meant an explenation as to why one person has Mokuton, but neither his father, brothers or children have it. And dont just say "Its very rare" atleast one other person would have it in that case.

It's not asspull because i can see how the Rinnegan eventualy evolved into the Sharingan. But mokuton sprung up in one generation and vanished the next.

Wood Release can counter fire due to the sheer magnitude. Wood forming layers upon layers to snuff out the fire. Sorta like how you cannot turn off a forest fire with a glass of water, foo. The technique is just so above everything else.

I think part of the key to Hashirama being the only one with Wood Release his his massive chakra levels. It is an Advanced Bloodline Limit that requires Water, Earth, and Yang Release. Essentially he's transfering his life energy into that to create life out of nothing. This might be above Tobirama's chakra levels so if he tried it he'd only get mud.
