637 What If? Speculation

Okay so Madara forced Obito to perform Rinne Tensei last chapter but what if things take a totally unexpected twist and Obito retakes control? (this theory isn't totally likely but is very interesting- here are the events that could potentially happen and change the storyline)

>Minato is shocked and says some dialogue about Obito, Kakashi rejoins them

>Obito focuses on his previous thoughts and resurrects Rin.

>Hashirama strikes Madara, keeping him preoccupied whilst the battlefield watch in shock and confusement

>Obito starts to lose it mentally (as hinted last chapter) and is like "look Rin, I waited for you, look what I made for you- all this is for you."

>After brief explanation Rin looks around at Kakashi, her sensei and the entire battlefield Obito has caused and she is disgust with what Obito has become. Obito either goes beserk and kills Rin, insanely taking control of the battlefield again and becoming the 10 tails host, overtaking Madara. OR Obito is distraught, and it is MADARA who kills Rin. Obito goes beserk on Madara, backed up by Minato & Kakashi.

Again, not entirely likely. But I would love something along these lines. It means Obito isn't totally shoved aside and the last however many chapters of character development of Obito, Kakashi and the Kakashi chronicles isn't all flushed down the toilet for some OP crazy Uchiha with flashy lights.

True. But it's very likely he will as in my opinion that would be the cliffhanger the chapter would on. Yknow, for emotional and shock value. Also Nagato only died from it because he did it on such a huge scale AFTER the huge shinra tensei and fight with Naruto.

I'm pretty sure he'll survive this.

Kakashi is still in that dimension , so maybe he will kill him before he does Rinnentensei . But if he revives Rin , then i think Rin will seal the 10 tails in her or something like that . I think so , cause she never showed any abilities except healing . There are 100 possibilities now . I prefer if he would revive the Kages ... but i dont know if that will happen . So or so , i cant wait to see what happens next , i think Kishi will do a FLASHBACK ... XD if he does , grrr Kishi , grrr

Good point. It would be interesting if that happened and also well deserved. Obito is too important of an influence to be killed off so easily.

let's believe in kishimoto.he wouldn't throw the years of character development,prophecies,forshadowing just like that.obito will be the final deal,even if the next chapter shows that he is dead. i just don't believe that he is obito.and btw the chapter was utter shit as a plot but definitely not rushed.as for now,all hail the boss called madara uchiha.

Thats the thing. I can't trust Kishimoto. He unrealistically off'd Kabuto and I don't trust him to handle Obito any better. Kishimoto has shown that he prefers big attacks and laserbeams rather than character development and good writing so I honestly see someone like Madara replacing Obito.
