I've been seeing a lot of people who seem to be giving Sasuke and his Amatarasu all the credit for taking down (at least for the time being) the Juubi in this chapter. But I think this is simply ridiculous. Naruto's ENORMOUS Rasenshuriken had a huge impact on the power of that attack. Not only that, but--as we were reminded in the flashback panels-- it was foreshadowed years ago when they were first learning about chakra natures that Naruto would add to Sasuke's power. From a writing standpoint I think Kishi worked wonders with bringing this into the story.

Without Naruto's Odama Rasenshuriken collaborating with Sasuke's jutsu there's just no way Amatarasu solos the ten tails!

Also I liked how Kishimoto remebered something from like 30 volumes ago about wind assisting fire.

The Amaterasu wouldn't have even been big enough to cover the Juubi's leg, never mind its entire body like it does now because of the massive rasenshuriken.

While you're right, amaterasu would have 7 days and nights to spread without the assistance of the rasenshuriken anyway. So it's still possible that amaterasu can take down the juubi, what's more, we even know (for the most part) that amaerasu actually does affect the juubi, so that counter is debunked.

Which is the whole point! The two jutsus hitting on their own wouldn't do that much to the Juubi but those two techs together..

Tobirama mentioned the perfect unison Naruto and Sasuke had together and that they did it so well.

I dunno why people started saying that Sasuke soloes the Juubi and he is stronger than Naruto...it was Naruto's Odama rasenshuriken that enhanced his flames in the first place...it was a collaboration jutsu. And Naruto is only in Kyuubi Mode.
