It's apparent from this chapter that hashi is definitely not all hype. From lurking here, some people seem to be under the impression that hashi isn't that strong, but what i'm thinking is that all his 'hype' is still not doing him justice.

Bottom Right - He just heard about the warm but he's facepalming. He's underplaying the fact that madara is back and there's a war going on. He's little calm and collected. Even in the 4 panel 'surprise reaction', hashi's reaction is barely a twinge.

He has madara panicky and unsettled. The madara we've just seen beat 5 kages with his arms folded. The madara we've seen having a picnic from the moment of revival. IT's apparent on his face that he is having a hard time.
Hashi's still calm and collected during this heated fight. He's watching a TBB develop infront of his eyes, but yet he's smiling. He literally has that "WOW! This such an exciting match! haha, you're a good opponent and i'm having so much fun being able to finally flex my muscles!" that Goku always has. The guy is unfazed...

Also a few side stuff:
IMO sarutobi is the weakest hokage( in the lineup there that is). Iruka's hype is baseless; he didn't know any of the others at all. Sarutobi was practically begging for minato's presence during the whole 9tails invasion. Of coarse, at the end of the day I am a minato fan, but he isn't all FTG after all. His sealing jutsus and summonings are pretty good also, and as far as we know he could've potentially been a toad sage also. In any case, I just don't see anything impressive about sarutobi. His fight with oro was 'meh' at best IMO. Lee and Sasuke's chunning exams were even more exciting for me, though sarutobi's sheer array of abilities were impressive I'd say.
Finally, Kishi seems to contradict a bit himself in this manga. There was one chapter he put something along the lines of "...The new generation will surpass the old". Not a single person right now is on Hashi's/Madara's level (don't even try to underplay madara's strength also). Even tobirama (can't say with 100% certainty) probably whips every single person right now (even though he died to kinkaku and jinkaku. Maybe he said his forbidden word?).

Atleast in this panel he shows us some concentration and seriousness as if this is actually a fight he can lose, but on the other hand, he's using a TBB as a make-shift rasengan. All that concentration is probably for controlling the TBB so it won't explode...
Also a few side stuff:
When Tobirami acted up and hashi flexed his chakra, my theory is that he was actually preparing all the wood in the place to restrain tobi, and not that everything was just reacting to him. I believe his basically crumbling the structure of the building by moving the wood a bit in preparation.
Most of us were right with the whole oro thing, I doubt anyone didn't already think that anyway... Now it's only a question of what he's going to do with all this senu DNA. How much of a level up does he now have?
