with mokuton he blocks the attacks with a wood shield, a massive version of yamato's in episode 290.
kakashi: sakura...
sakura: yeah thats what we need to take down. then we can defeat him directly.
suddenly juubi goes on the attack. its massive paw takes a swipe at the first division, barreling them away like ants. it is hit with a combined assault of kunai showers and ninjutsu.
kurama: hit it with your strongest long range jutsus, everyone!
sakura heals naruto.
sakura: just a bit longer naruto!
tenten: rising twin dragons: hellstorm (swords and spears burst out of scrolls)
darui: raiton: black laser circus!
sai does some ink tiger thing.
kitsuchi: earth element: mountain sandwich!
juubi stands up a bit and knocks away the mountains.
meanwhile the sand siblings back them up, trying to drive back obito.
kankuro: black secret puppet technique: multitude of 100 puppets! with this i surpassed sasori!
temari: wind element: cast net!
obito goes intangible.
obito: pff no you didnt, trash.
it uses chakra roar to repel the combined assault, then starts forming a bijuudama.
ino: damn it all, not that again!
this time its too fast and it heads into a huge number of people, but the explosion's contained by kakashi's kamui. he can't warp it all and a small part of it explodes, killing hundreds.
fodder: it vanished! we were saved somehow!
kakashi: and my chakras nearly gone again...sorry guys.
gai: don't apologise! this is just youth taking over from us!

naruto: i..i can't sense granny tsunade anymore...and the chakra of temari just vanished.

she clenches her fists in anguish. meanwhile the juubi continues taking swipes at the alliance with madaras mokuton wrecking havoc. kiba falls to the ground from a shockwave.
kiba: how long will they take? we can't hold this thing off forever!
ino is about to be hit by a second shockwave but shizune jumps in the way to take it full force
ino: thank you captain shizune!

sakura: shizune-san! everyone is slowly being killed... those bastard akatsuki!
naruto looks at her with affection and sorrow.
naruto: don't worry i'll make sure nothing happens to you, sakura chan.
sakura is about to answer when obito teleports in front of her.
obito: so its you is it my dear? well then...naruto. this is how rin was killed before my eyes.
obito starts doing the seals for chidori.
kakashi: ! he couldnt have copied it...
lee: don't touch sakura san!
lee starts entering 5 gates
kakashi: everyone, protect sakura! she is acting captain of her division now that captain shizune is out of the fight! we must hold out until naruto is ready!
lee: YOSH! gate of life..OPEN!
obito charges at them with his red version of chidori.
obito: red lightning: uchiha chidori!
blood spills out onto the ground. naruto's eyes widen at who was hit by the attack.

next time: the battle heats up! what will obito's new technique do?

No, just because he has Sasori's puppet body doesn't mean that he can summon the 100 puppets. Sasori had done specific modifications to his body in order to be able to actually control 100 puppets at once.

Actually he still can't use it, since his brain and chakra levels couldn't support it, Sasori could do it since the strings were connected to his heart. Without those modifications, no one can control 100 puppets at once.

[Pakura]

First off, Kankuro wasn't even shown as part of the Ninja Alliance Army last chapter. Never was Neji, but we know Neji was heading there so it was probably just a mistake. The last we saw of Kankuro he was getting treated for poison. If he was there, Kishi would of showed him arriving like he did with Temari.

And no, unless Kankuro turned himself into a puppet during the war, he cannot control 100 puppets like Sasori. He would need to control them by attaching the strings to his heart.

Pakura-san took the words out of my mouth and I dnt think Kishi has Naruto still looking at Sakura no more, well not since Hinata jumped out in front of Pain which Naruto remembered when he was talking to his mum but hey this could be just the ramblings of a baka in any case it was better then anything I could write
